Day 1 YEREVAN
Afternoon

  • Arrival! Meet and Greet at Zvartnots Intl Airport.
  • Check in hotel!

Evening

  • Welcome Dinner at “Sherep Restaurant” (Complimentary by the Sena Group) just at the Republic Square!
  • Night Walk at Republic Square, home to History Museum, the National Gallery, the Government House and iconic fountains featuring shows choreographed with music & lights, North Avenue, Swan Lake and Opera House.
  • Back to hotel and overnight stay!

Day 2 YEREVAN
Morning

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • After breakfast, sightseeing tour in Yerevan.
  • Explore Matenadaran (UNESCO World’s Documentary Heritage).
  • Tour of Cafesjian Center of Art and walk up to Cascade Monument to see the most beautiful Panorama of Yerevan City” and “Mount Ararat”.
  • Wine tasting at “Royal Cascade” Restaurant while enjoying the most beautiful view of Yerevan with Mount Ararat.

Afternoon

  • Lunch at “Dolmama Restaurant” with traditional Armenian cuisine.
  • Tour of “Ararat Brandy Company”, world renowned-brandy admired by Frank Sinatra, Agatha Christie and Winston Churchill, to taste Legendary Armenian Brandy.
  • Tour of the “Megerian Carpet Museum” to explore so much about the history of Armenian rug making.
  • Tour of “Blue Mosque” 18th-century Shia mosque in Yerevan, Armenia. During the Soviet era, the mosque stopped its services and housed the History Museum of Yerevan.
  • Tour of the Vernissage” large open air-market to shop and snatch up a variety of traditional Armenian artwork, such as rugs, woodcarvings, paintings, musical instruments, jewelry and more…

Evening

  • Dinner at “Tavern Yerevan” with homemade apricot and peach vodka.
  • Overnight stay.

Day 3 ETCHMIADZIN / GARNI / GEGHARD
Morning

  • Breakfast at hotel!
  • Tour of the “Etchmiadzin Cathedral” the mother church of the Armenian Apostolic Church, the first cathedral built in ancient Armenia, the oldest cathedral in the world, to explore more about the First Christian Country.
  • Visit to the “Saradarapat Memorial” to understand Armenian ethnic cultural differences and way of esthetical thinking of this brave and ancient nation.
  • Tour of the “Zvartnots Temple”, the brightest landmark of medieval Armenian architecture, to explore its rare and majestic beauty.

Afternoon

  • Lunch at “Village Restaurant”.
  • Tour of “Garni Temple”, the only pagan temple and unique masterpiece of Hellenistic architecture in Armenia.
  • Tour of the “Geghard Monastery”, incredible ancient Armenian monastery, partly carved out of a mountain with number of churches and tombs.
  • Tour of the “Symphony of Stones”.
  • Back to Yerevan.

Evening

  • Dinner at “Malkhas Jazz Club” by far the best place in Yerevan to enjoy jazz music.
  • Overnight stay.

Day 4 YEREVAN
Morning

  • Breakfast at hotel!
  • Tour of the “History Museum of Armenia”.
  • Stop by at “Jazzve Café” to taste delicious Armenian coffee.
  • Walk thru North Avenue and Freedom Square towards “Opera House” to visit and see its beautiful exterior and interior architecture.

Afternoon

  • Lunch at “Lavash Restaurant” with excellent and harmonious atmosphere.
  • Visit to the “Armenian Genocide Memorial” to pay tribute to the Memory of the Armenian Genocide Victims.
  • Tour of the “Erebuni Fortress”, also known as Arin Berd, is an Urartian fortified city.

Evening

  • Dinner at “8-rd Hrashaliq (8th Miracle)” where nature and gastronomy meet.
  • Overnight stay.

Day 5 ARARAT VALLEY / ARENI / VAYOTS DZOR / TATEV
Morning

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Tour of the “Khor Virap Monastery” one of the most popular touristy destinations in Armenia, standing before the snowcapped flanks of Mount Ararat offering a spectacular view of the mountain, the national symbol of Armenia, the place of pilgrimage and one of the most worshipped ones in Armenia and the holy site for the Armenian Apostolic Church.
  • Tour of the “Noravank Monastery: Magic Monastery of Armenia”, masterpiece of the Armenian architecture; one of the most spectacular tourist attractions in Armenia, encircled by fantastic red rocks, the relief sculpture over its doors depicts Christ flanked by Peter and Paul.

Afternoon

  • Lunch at “Lchak Restaurant” laid out in a very aesthetically pleasing way around a pond with fish and ducks.
  • Tour of “Areni 1- Cave” the oldest winemaking facility in the world, dating from approximately 4100 BC.
  • Drive to “Tatev Monastery”, one of the most magnificent creations of medieval Armenian architecture, and enjoy the Wings of Tatev, a cable car, and the longest in the world.

Evening

  • Dinner at “Areni Wine Art” with homemade wine and freshly baked Armenian lavash.
  • Back to Yerevan.
  • Overnight stay and rest.

Day 6 SEVAN / DILIJAN
Morning

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Drive to mesmerizing “Lake Sevan”, Armenian Sea, the largest and the most beautiful lake in the Caucasus with clean fresh water.
  • Tour of the monastic complex of Sevanavank, built in 874 at Sevan Peninsula.
  • Drive to Dilijan, “Armenian Switzerland”, where you will enjoy the peace and tranquility as you embark on a leisurely exploration of the Dilijan National Park. The forested and reclusive town is home to numerous Armenian artists, composers, and filmmakers and features some traditional Armenian architecture.
  • Tour of the “Haghartsin Monastery”, one of the wonders of Armenian medieval architecture.

Afternoon

  • Lunch at “Flying Ostrich by Dolmama Restaurant” in Dilijan where famous American Actor George Clooney once had dinner.
  • Tour of the “Goshavank Monastery” beacon of science and culture of ancient Armenia.
  • Walk on “Sarambeyan Street”, full of craftsmen’s workshops, gallery and a museum.
  • Visit to Dilijan Historic Center.
  • Back to Yerevan

Evening

  • Dinner at “Tsirani Garden” restaurant.
  • Overnight stay.

Day 7 BYURAKAN / YEREVAN
Morning

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • After a leisurely breakfast, embark on a historical journey discovering the famous sights of Byurakan.
  • Explore “Amberd Fortress”, ruins of a 7th-century fortress an 11th- century bath house on the side of Mount Aragats.
  • Visit and learn about “Byurakan Observatory” located on the slope of Mount Aragats.

Afternoon

  • Lunch at Village restaurant.
  • Explore “Basilica of Saint Hovhannes”, 10th century basilica.
  • Tour of the “Artavazik Church” of the 7th century with a huge 13th-century “Khachkar Monument”.
  • Do not miss “Kari Lich” (Rock Lake) located in 3200 m altitude, one of the best view in Armenia; overcast skies hugging mountain peaks and picturesque lake rows of distinctive.
  • Tour of the Saghmosavank Monastery

Evening

  • Back to Yerevan.
  • Farewell Dinner at “Malkhas Jazz Club” by far the best place in Yerevan to enjoy jazz music while having dinner and drinks.
  • Overnight stay and rest!

Day 8 DEPARTURE

  • En route home.
